Frequently asked Questions
What day can I order?
The website is 'stocked' twice a week...Friday and Monday. On a Friday you can usually order custom made items such giant cookies, message cookies, custom blondie and brownie slabs, cookie dough pots and sometimes a set mixed box of items. There is only a limited amount of stock added each week so it's a first come first served basis until it sells out.
When will I receive my items?
Stock will be freshly baked and posted as soon as possible after baking.
How long is delivery?
Once you receive your dispatch notice you know your goods are on the way... all orders are currently sent by Hermes which is a 2 day service but due to current circumstances some may take longer. You will be sent tracking info from Parcel2go so you can keep track of your item.
How much is delivery?
Delivery is included on all orders over £12.50. Orders less than £12.50 a P&P charge of £2.50 will be added at checkout.
Can I order an item to be delivered for a specific date?
Unfortunatly we don't offer this feature ... It's best just to order on the weekend of the week you require your item.
Do you offer any items that are gluten free/ vegan or for other allergy sufferers?
I'm afraid as a home baker I cannot offer bakes suitable for allergy sufferers.
Do I need to be home to receive my delivery?
Mailboxmunchies is the home of letterbox treats...most of my bakes have been designed to be sent in letterbox boxes, meaning they fit through most standard letterboxes so you don't need to be home when it arrives.
Can I send my order as a gift to a different address?
Yes you can, just enter the delivery address you'd like them sent to at the checkout.
How long will my goodies last?
All my bakes are posted out as fresh as possible (most the day after baking) so once you receive them they will last another 5 - 7days. It's best to keep them in the fridge and take them out an hour or two before you'd like to enjoy them so they can return to room temperature. If you don't plan on eating them within this time frame then all the bakes can be frozen to enjoy at a later date.
